About JKSPYM
Founded in 1990, JKSPYM established the first de-addiction centre in Jammu in 1992. So far, we have treated MORE THAN 6000 clients. We often collaborate with various national and international agencies to tackle drug use menace. Due to our pervasive local presence, we have conducted several size mapping exercises, worked with high-risk groups, initiated and completed and presently running projects by UNODC and NACO.
We were also the only NGO to establish and successfully run a de-addiction centre in Srinagar. However, during the Kashmir floods, the centre was severely damaged. The repair work also suffered due to the lockdown after Burhan Wani’s death. Due to lack of funds, we recently shut down the centre.
